34.Golden Harvest Awards-Taiwan

 

This year there were 195 short films sent to the festival, and 25 films have entered the Professional Competition section: 10 Drama films, 6 Documentaries, 4 Animations and 5 Experimental films. The film Oblivion from Vitek Ures and YiaWei Huang won the Best Experimental film on 30th March 2012.

 

 

 FAMU vs. FAMO IV.

 

 7.12.2011 already 4 year of competition between two most important Czech film schools in Bio Oko in Prague was held. The succes of our film academy is the audience is the audience award for movie "Svene days" of director Lukáš Buchar.

 

Awarded again on the Night of film promisees 2011!

 

On the festival "Night of the film promisees" 2011, traditionally held by the Czech TV Nova, Jiří Sádek and his movie "Neříkej hop!" and Marek Nikodým with his movie "Co bylo, to není" were awarded by audience award.

 

Countdown Initiated won the jury award

On 33. Festival of Czech film and TV comedy our student Petr Pekař with his movie "Countdown Initiated" won the main award of student jury.

 

KodakYoung Cinematographer Award 2011

 

13.4.2011 in Prague Bio Oko our student Antoan Pepelanov was awarded by the main award for the best young cinematographer. He was awarded for his work on the movie "Neříkej hop!" by his fellow student, director Jiří Sádek.

 

Festival Wiz-Art -Lvov

7th of April was presented the Czech animation film in Lvov on Ukraina in the festival Wiz-Art. Our school movie „Myška Kyška a Myška Hryžka“ was chosen for the final selection.
 

Young camera 2011

On the Young camera Uničov festival won our student´s movies those awards:

 

2. award Jiří Sádek for movie Neříkej hop, 3. award Jan Vejnar for movie Automatic for the people.

Klapka 2011

Na festivalu Klapka 2011 v Kladně získal v kategorii "Cena diváků-studentský film" 1. místo "Neříkej hop" (režie Jiří Sádek).
 

Jakub Hussar uspěl v Cannes

Absolvent školy Jakub Hussar získal Bronzového lva na světové reklamní soutěži ve francouzském Cannes.  Do soutěže přihlásil svoji reklamu Mnichov (spot na výstavu o Mnichovské dohodě v Národním muzeu). Uspěl na přehlídce mezi 3500 spoty.

In the beginning of December 2010 in Prague Art cinema "Oko" our movies "Fast Arrows" and "Automatic for the People" competed with school movies of Film and Tv School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The third year of this competition won our student Jan Vejnar and his "Automatic for the People".
