About Independent film college
The Independent film college in Písek was founded in 1996. It is accredited by Ministry of Education of Czech Republic. After three years of studying the graduates will get the DiS. (Diploma specialist) the professional education in:
Film, TV and broadcasting creation
Organizing of film, TV and broadcasting production
Picture and sound in the film, TV and broadcasting production
During the first semester students takes classes in art history, music and film, psychology and most of all in technology of film creation production. Thay are also getting familiar with the different film professions.
During the whole period of study students takes theoretical and practical exercises in groups. They are improving their skills under the guiding of experienced and long-time film, television and broadcast professionals.
The graduates are very succesful in professional business and some of them are continuing in their studies on universities.
